OEKO-TEXÂ® certified, recycled leather. Sourced from the surplus production from the furniture and fashion industry, the vegetable-tanned core leather is first granulated and then pressed together with natural rubber from trees. The result is a recycled leather quality consisting of 80% core leather and 20% natural rubber - a material that is at once incredibly durable, water repellant as well as easy to clean. Lastly, the recycled leather is dyed with water-based colour and embossed with beautiful surface structures and patterns.
